About Us

Exact-Med/UTTC Transcription Program was founded by Renee Becker, CMT in 2001.   Renee has been involved in the medical transcription industry in numerous different capacities since 1985.

Renee’s passion to bring jobs into the rural areas, as well as an understanding of the industry, is what brought about the creation of Exact-Med.  Realizing that as each student was trained and placed into employment, a new job was created and the momentum started.....

Dedication to our students, by offering good customer service, has been proven successful in continual growth of our program.

Mission Statement:  Our mission is to provide a high quality medical transcription training which will prepare our trainees for successful employment in the ever expanding industry of Medical Transcription.  We will lead them, one by one.

Exact-Med grew to capacity and merged with United Tribes Technical College in 2005 and continues to offer a good quality program via online training.

In July of 2006, Exact-Med achieved the "Association for Healthcare Documentation Integrity" Educational Program Approval as well as the Medical Transcription Industry Alliance (MTIA) Registered Apprenticeship Program in 2007.

Exact-Med has become a leader in training for medical transcription and the dedication of our staff has made Exact-Med/UTTC Transcription Training a success.  We truly care about our students and we are not successful until you are.
