About Us

Exact-Med/UTTC Transcription Training was founded by Renee Becker, CMT in 2001.   Renee has been involved in the medical transcription in numerous different capacities since 1985.  A constant throughout that time were inquiries from others asking questions as to how they could get started in the field of medical transcription.

 

Renee’s compassion to bring jobs into the rural areas as well as an understanding of the industry is what brought about the creation of Exact-Med.  Realizing that as each student was trained and placed into employment, a new job was created and that is what started the momentum. 

 

Dedication to our students and offering good customer service to each student has been proven successful in continuation of our growth.    

 

Mission Statement:  Our mission is to provide a high quality medical transcription training program which will prepare our new trainees for successful employment in the ever expanding industry of Medical Transcription.  We will lead them, one by one.  

 

Exact-Med had grown to capacity and merged with United Tribes Technical College in 2005 in order to continue building this already successful program in terms of technical support and online learning. 

 

In July of 2006, Exact-Med achieved the Association for Healthcare Documentation Integrity (formerly American Association for Medical Transcription - AAMT) Educational Program Approval as well as the Medical Transcription Industry Alliance (MTIA) Registered Apprenticeship Program in 2007.

 

Exact-Med has become a leader in training for medical transcription and the dedication of our staff made Exact-Med/UTTC Transcription Training a success.  We truly care about our students and we are not successful until you are.
