Student Testimonials

From Kelly:  (Employed graduate 2007):

"Both Renee and Lynelle were very helpful throughout the training program.  I knew I could call with questions at any time.  During the employment process, Renee was very encouraging, positive and uplifting.  Thanks for everything!!!"

From Amy:  (Employed graduate 2007):

"I believe I received very thorough training through the Exact-Med/UTTC Transcription Program."

"Working with Renee, Lynelle and Connie has been a pleasure.  They are supportive and encouraging; providing comic relief when necessary.  :-)"

From Karen: (Employed graduate 2007):

"I have the highest regard for instructors of Exact-Med. They have been helpful, involved and encouraging along my journey to be trained as a medical transcriptionist. I have found them to be ready to help with my questions. They have been easily accessible to me, as a student, and quick to return phone calls and/or e-mail correspondence, as well as helpful with my financial needs. I appreciate the quick response time from when my work was submitted to them to when I received the feedback."

"When I was discouraged they were ready with encouragement that I persist. I appreciated the high standards. It has made me reach for what I can do. I want to be able to do quality work, and they also want me to be able to do quality work. It has been a good teacher/student partnership. I thank them for what they have opened up for me."

"I also find invaluable that Renee works to place us with a company upon completion of our training. That is a very big bonus. At age 58, I found myself needing to go back into the workforce after nearly 30 years. They have opened a door for me. Thank you ladies."

From Becky (Employed graduate 2006):

Dear Lynelle and Renee:

“Once again, a very BIG THANK YOU!  I didn’t ever think I was going to do this well, really, but your training – and all those corrections – which I cried over a couple of times – have come full circle and I am enjoying my new adventure to the max!”

“Yes, I’m busy, just so glad to be actually working – and I am enjoying it – you and Renee did an excellent job driving home transcription into my brain.  I owe you two so much.  These months of agonizing over those reports are paying off. Keep up the good work – you do the profession proud!  I learned so much!  Thanks again. “

From Amanda (Employed graduate 2005):

Lynelle, Renee & Ellen:

“Hey, just checking in to say "hi".  I finally graduated from the mentor program.  You were so right when you said I’d see $.  I’m so happy with everything.  I love my team lead and coordinator.  They seem to have all the faith in the world about my work and that seems to be getting easier as the days go by and as I create more templates and shortcuts.  They are also proving to be super flexible with making up hours.  Really they have been since I started.  I actually got to pick my shift and as long as I am remotely close to that, they don’t really care.  Basically, it is just common courtesy to them so they can assess where they stand as far as workflow coordination."

“I’m starting to make friends all over the country now and have begun to expand my library.  I referred a couple of people to your program.  I’m not sure if any of them have started yet, but I firmly believe you offer a top notch program.  I came in knowing the basics and quickly advanced thanks to all of your training, help and advice.  I just want to say THANK YOU SO MUCH.  This job has allowed me to have everything I could have ever wanted in a job from good pay to flexibility to a new challenge every day.”

From Betty (Student)

Dear Renee:

“I wanted to tell you about this, maybe it will make your day!  I have a friend who was considering taking a transcription program.  She got literature from a “work at home” program.  You may be familiar with this so it will not be something new.  I told her I would go to the presentation with her.  I am glad I did.  I cannot believe there are sub-standard programs like it out there.  I did not see a reference book with the exception of a medical dictionary that at best guess was ½ inch thick.  I looked through the entire program in just a few minutes.  The lesson books looked like grade 5 material.  How do these people get jobs?  It was then that I appreciated this program, even though it is hard work.  As for my friend, she looked through my material and could see this was really superior.  She may be in at some time to enroll.  Thanks for putting a program together that we can be proud of!”

From Kathleen (Employed graduate 2005)

Lynelle & Renee:

Work is going really well.  I feel that I was as well prepared as anyone could be.  I was definitely given all the tools needed to be successful in my career.”

From Lisa (Employed graduate 2005)

“I started Exact-Med in April of 2004 and finished in November of 2005.  It was so nice to be able to do this at my own pace.  I have to say that this program is more than what I expected it to be.  They are so willing to go the extra mile, to make sure you understand what you are learning.  They also offer one-on-one help if you need it.  I’m very glad I had exposure to all of the medical specialties.  I really learned a lot.  Exact-Med has a placement program and I was placed immediately after completing the program.”

“I would recommend to anyone who is thinking of a career in medical transcription to give Exact-Med a call.  I feel very confident in the beginning of my new career in medical transcription.  Thank you, Renee, Lynelle and Ellen.  You are all wonderful!”

Recommendation  from Amy (Employed graduate 2006)

“I had been thinking about a career in medical transcription for a few years, but could not find a program that worked with my busy schedule.  It was important to me that I found a school that offered hands on training.  I finally found Exact-Med Transcription Training.  From the first time I met with Renee, I knew this was a career for me.  Her knowledge made me feel comfortable and the flexibility was just what I was looking for.  Looking back now, I cannot believe how much I have learned.  Everyone at Exact-Med has been wonderful to work with and I would highly recommend them to anyone.”

Recommendation  from Diane (Employed Graduate 2004)

“The Exact-Med program is great.  The instructors are knowledgeable and very helpful.  They continue to help you even after you have graduated.  They are helpful in assisting you to find a job and continue to encourage you.”
