Why choose Exact Med?

The Exact-Med Transcription Program is a proven program that has trained many transcriptionists to be successful in employment.  With our years of experience as medical transcriptionists in all aspects of the industry, we can offer you a hands-on perspective to training for medical transcription.

Exact-Med was designed from the industry perspective backwards.  We realized that only those with advanced skills are able to break into this industry as it is a very experienced based type of industry.  We train our students up to level 4 (acute care dictation). This means that upon completion of our training program, you will be able to transcribe the more difficult type of medical dictation which includes ESL physicians (English as a Second Language), detailed operative reports, consult reports, and history and physical reports of many different specialties.  A medical transcriptionist has many options for employment once they have advanced skills.

Also, as our program is competency based, you will remain in the program until you are performing medical transcription at the industry standards of 98% accuracy.  Once you have reached this competency level, we will assist you in employment placement.  The opportunities for employment in medical transcription are very good, however you must have advanced skills.  We give you our personal guarantee to work with you until you are ready for employment.

We are truly committed to our students and we are not successful until you are.
