Exact-Med/UTTC Transcription Training prides itself on the ability to successfully place our new trainees.

We understand the industry of medical transcription in that it is a very experienced based type of industry. It is our mission to train all of our graduates to the industry standards of 98% accuracy and help to bridge the gap into employment. To date we have had successful placement of those reaching 98% accuracy. As our program is competency based, you are allowed the time needed to work up this skill level.

Learning medical transcription has been compared to learning a foreign language. Throughout our years of education, we have at times, been able to borrow (memorize) knowledge long enough to pass a test. However, medical transcription is an industry where you need to know the information. You will begin with the foundation and continue to build until you reach the industry standards. As we are competency based, you take the time you need.

The standards of medical transcription are quite high, so therefore aiming for close to perfection should be a medical transcriptionist’s goal. It is our goal to help you achieve this. We have many connections in the industry and when you have the skills – we will assist you in finding gainful employment.
